This new website, “Women Living Better” (https://womenlivingbetter.org/) developed out of a (unsuccessful) Canadian Institute for Health Research KT Team Grant application that CeMCOR led in 2017 “Re-defining Perimenopause for Women”. These two women from Boston with backgrounds in business (both have MBA degrees), sought out CeMCOR for information and became active collaborators in that proposal. A website was one of our purposes in that grant. They went on, by themselves, to create a website to help midlife women. Dr. Jerilynn Prior provided some input and feedback to them in the formation process and so have the many others whose information they sought.
The focus of this website, as was the grant’s, is to help midlife women whose cycles are still regular but whose experiences have horridly changed understand that they have entered perimenopause (http://cemcor.ubc.ca/resources/how-can-i-tell-i-am-perimenopause).
Their purpose is to help women.
If you find the site helpful, please share it with your family members, friends and colleagues.
Many thanks,
The CeMCOR Team
