Estriol

A weak form of estrogen that is used in the vagina for therapy of vaginal dryness and is effective for severe dyspareunia associated with urinary tract infections. OR a weak form of estrogen that is high during pregnancy. It is not effective for treatment of hot flushes or osteoporosis but is effective for ‘vaginal dryness’ or vaginal atrophy.
