Gonadotrophin releasing hormone (GnRH)

The name for the pulsatile hypothalamic hormone that regulates the production of LH and FSH and therefore controls the function of the ovaries. OR also GnRH, is the hormone from the hypothalamus that integrates signals from stress hormones, insulin, and other signals to wisely direct actions of the pituitary and the ovary.
