Ovaries

Twinned organs found on either side of the uterus. The ovaries produce important estrogen and progesterone hormones cyclically during about 35-40 years of women’s lives. OR the two glands in the abdomen of women that contain millions of follicles, each of which includes an egg and cells that can make ovarian hormones.
