NEWS: Article published – Progesterone for menopausal hot flushes.

CeMCOR is proud to announce the publication of our latest journal article which shows that the pill form of progesterone is an effective treatment for menopausal hot flushes and night sweats.

The North American Menopause Society’s journal, Menopause, has just published (online) the results of the first ever study of Progesterone for hot flushes and night sweats (also called vasomotor symptoms). This study is not only the first Progesterone for hot flush trial, it is also unique because it was funded entirely with individual private donations and is the first to show that progesterone is more effective than placebo at treating menopausal hot flushes and night sweats.
