We’re excited to share new research from Women Living Better, an organization that Dr. Jerilynn C. Prior is an advisor for. This new research shows that symptoms on the path to menopause begin with still monthly periods — for some in their late 30s, early 40s. Most people expect these changes to start much later. You can find the paper here.
They’ve launched a grassroots effort to share this research with as many people as possible; those on the path to menopause, the people that live with them — and love them — and all the healthcare providers that care for them. This information will spark discussion, bring comfort, make many feel validated and not alone. It’s time for this normal life transition to be better understood and supported.
