Helena J Teede is the Director of Research for the Jean Hailes Foundation for Women’s Health, Professor of Women’s Health and Site Director – School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine at Monash University. Dr Hailes is also Head of Diabetes for the Southern Health region in Melbourne, Australia. Her clinical and public health/women’s health research focuses on prevention/management of obesity and its complications, especially the impact on reproductive and metabolic women’s health. She has a highly competitive clinical, public health research and knowledge translation track record with international recognition.
